Hoch Heidecksburg

The concert march Hoch Heidecksburg was composed in 1912 by the German military musician Rudolf Herzer. It was named after the castle Heidecksburg in Rudolstadt, where Herzer’s band was stationed.

Today, Hoch Heidecksburg belongs to the most popular and most frequently played marches in Germany.
